The act of surrendering makes us ponder on a lot of questions such as: Why do we surrender? When do we surrender? How do we surrender? Such questions could go on and on. I can firmly say that I have found answers to most of these questions.

Trusting in His plan

Do we not, in many situations, trust ourselves more than we trust our Creator? Having been created in His image and likeness, shouldn’t we offer up our lives to Him to execute the plan He has for us?

In a world filled with trials, temptations, desires and wants, approaching the Creator and surrendering ourselves seems a bit hard. The longings of the world keep us covered with a pseudo-shell and pull us away from the notions of living a life pleasing to Him on high. How then do we overcome them and come closer to Him, who is ever ready to hear our plea?

Fire of His Love

“Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest; take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

The theme of RYC ‘18 by itself was very meaningful to my life and hence the excitement level took a leap. The worry of a better future and a well-settled career often led me to take the responsibility on myself rather than to yoke it to Jesus. Jesus, being the centre of my life was not very evident until I praised and worshipped Him, offering my all at the conference.

Christmas 2018

With the same thought and spirit of growing in love in the CFCI family, a Christmas celebration was scheduled on December 2nd at Milagres PU Hall. The décor was splendid, with stars and lanterns, welcoming everybody to the venue. Red, green and golden were the theme colours. Around 175 people attended the Christmas celebration that was planned and executed by the CFCI Youth and CFCI Singles.
