The greatest experience of 2019— The Regional Youth Conference 2019 was held from the 8th to 10th November 2019 at Don Bosco, Sulcorna, Goa. Delegates from all over Goa along with Pune, Mangalore and Bangalore attended the conference. The theme of the conference was based on John 15:5—Branch Out.

CFCI Chennai and Mangalore organized their first-ever ‘Campus Retreat’ for students of St. Patrick’s High School on 10th August 2019. The Retreat started with lively action songs which uplifted the spirits of all the students.

Led by the Holy Spirit, brothers and sisters from different parts of the country, came together to serve the youth of the diocese of Bareily, at Anugraha Ashram, Sitarganj, Uttarkhand for a four-day Youth Camp from 13th June to 16th June 2019. These youth were full of energy, enthusiasm and a deep devotion for Christ; all they needed was a listening ear, a hand to hold and a path to be directed to. The service team was all set to serve 150 youth but were surprised to see around 300 youth on the first day itself.

“So, la la la la Live out Loud!”... the CFCI Youth Camp started on this note! Minus the crazy actions and awesome lyrics, this song captured the gist of the three days that were to come - a camp designed for the youth of Bangalore to relax, have fun, and most importantly meet God.

The CFCI Youth of Panjim organised a youth-intake camp called ‘Glow in the light of Christ’ at the Blessed Sacrament Retreat House in Alto Santa Cruz from 30 May - 1 June 2019 which was attended by forty-five participants. It began with the music ministry getting the youth pumped up for the upcoming three days. After a few games and a short break, the first talk on God’s love and His plan for us was given followed by group discussions. The next talk was about Who is Jesus Christ to me. After this, we had fellowship and dinner and then we said the Rosary. Night games such as the bedsheet game, Bible charades and Bible mad gab were arranged and everyone enjoyed thoroughly.

The CFCI Youth Vasco intake camp was held at Palotti Home, Chicalim, Vasco from 24th to 26th May 2019, the theme being ‘ENCOUNTER’. The program comprised of 5 sessions held over the three-day duration and was attended by youth.

Excited, scared, determined, confused....any other emotion running through your mind? Well put them all together and that was the state of our minds when we left for Assam as a part of the #CFCISummerMissionCrew. Some of the Mission Crew members had already served in the prior missions, but for some, this was their first mission; to travel far away from home, comfort and family. This year’s mission to Assam was to guide the existing CFCI Youth members to grow together as a household. The Mission Crew members hailed from Assam, West Bengal, Goa and Mangalore; and were further divided into three teams to reach out fourteen villages in a time span of ten days.
