UNDEFEATED - For the Battle is not Yours, but God’s, was the theme for the 2018 intake camp for youth, organized by the CFCI Youth of Siolim and Porvorim, which took place from the 15th to the 17th of May 2018. We were blessed with a beautiful venue this year, Casa Pallotti at Assagao. Around 30 youth attended the camp.

#NoFilters

The CFCI Youth Margao had an intake camp which was held at Palloti Home Chandor from 4th to 6th May 2018. The theme of the camp was “#Nofilters– You are amazing just the way you are” (Romans 5:8).

On 4th May, 46 participants assembled at the venue. The 10 service team members and the Formators gave them a warm welcome. Many gospel songs were taught to the participants out of which ‘Romans 16’ got them energized.

Light up the world

CFCI Calangute chapter held their first ever CFCI Youth camp at Don Bosco, Parra from April 27th-29th 2018. Rigorous preparations began, with forms and posters being printed and evangelization in place. In the course of evangelization, it was revealed that the neighbouring parishes had their annual fete planned over the same weekend of the camp. This, however, did not serve as a deterrent and 25 participants registered for the camp.

Power Up 2017

After waiting for an entire year, the CFCI Youth were blessed to participate in the Regional Youth Conference (RYC) 2017 which was held from the 27th to 29th October, 2017. And though it was a 3 day conference, for us participants those 3 days went by so quickly that it seemed like just a couple of hours. Yes, it was that fun!

This year’s Regional Youth Conference was special in more ways than one. Firstly, it was held at Hotel Orion, in Porvorim. While we all missed King’s School in Margao where the past RYC’s have been held nobody complained about the comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms we were accommodated in.

Campus Ministry at Mount Carmel College

Christian institutions today make it compulsory for their students to attend a retreat at the beginning of every academic year. Just like last year, the campus ministry of CFCI Singles, Bangalore reached out to many institutions to conduct weekend retreats. God in His abundant mercy, and love for His beloved children, opened doors in not one, but several well-known colleges.

We kicked off our campus ministry for the year 2017 with a retreat at Mount Carmel, PU College, in Vasanthnangar. Around 430 students attended the two-day weekend retreat at their college auditorium on the 23rd and 24th of June, 2017.

Practiced what was Preached!

A Youth meeting at Mall the Goa? The formators were definitely losing it! It all seemed so ridiculous and farfetched!
Well it did happen as planned on 11th June and it would be remembered by the CFCI Youth of Porvorim as 'The meeting at the mall'.

Discovery Camp – Mumbai

The Discovery Camp for the CFCI Youth was held from the 2nd to 4th of June, 2017 at PJMP, Nashik. The programme was oriented to help the youth to enrich their bonds with each other, their family relationships and spiritually.

Ignite – Panjim

A youth intake camp was organized by CFCI Youth, Panjim under the guidance of the youth formators and appointed team leaders. 'Ignite' was held at Lar des Estudantes, Altinho from 26th to 28th of May 2017. Weeks of planning and preparation culminated in a three day bonanza of faith, fun and fellowship.

#Boomerang

CFCI Youth, Mumbai had an intake camp titled #BOOMERANG- Come Back To God, from the 26th to the 28th of May 2017. The camp was held in Vinayalaya, Andheri(East). A total of 49 participants from Santacruz, Andheri, Mira Road and Virar attended this camp.
