Abide 2020

I praise God for ‘Abide’ – a full day program conducted for couples in Mangalore on Sunday, 1 March 2020 at Milagres Church Hall from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. About thirty couples attended this program with a program in parallel for their children.

Marriage Enrichment Retreat

The Marriage Enrichment Retreat was held at the Divine Retreat Centre in Mulki from 7th to 9th February 2020 and was attended by twenty couples. During these three days we went through various teachings, sharings and activities which helped us renew our love and appreciation for our spouse and of our togetherness in loving, honouring and serving God.

Men of Valor

‘We walked in as men of faith and integrity, we walked out as men of valor’

best describes the two-day retreat organized for Singles (men) at the pristine and silent St. Gaspar Retreat Center at Kithaganur Colony in Bangalore on the 9th of November 2019. Away from our homes and the chaos of the city we had come to experience a transformation like never before. The program began with the participants being led into praise and worship by the music ministry. The hall was soon filled with chants of “hallelujah” and we were able to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit amidst us.

Family Day – 2019

Young or not-so-young, single or married, the MFC Bangalore members from every ministry gathered together to celebrate the solidarity of their missionary community, nay family at Family Day on 8 December 2019, the second Sunday of Advent at Carmelaram Theology College.

FTPW Recollection

Our preparation for the coming of our Saviour, during the season of Advent, became even more meaningful this year with the Full-Time Pastoral Worker’s Retreat held at Navjyoti Niketan, Patna. This two-day program from 6-7th December 2019 was packed with praise & worship, games, Holy Eucharist and powerful sessions delivered by our Country servant, A.V.Jose and our former country servant Tony Correia.

Branch Out 2019

“Yes, I am the vine you are the branches, he who abides in me and I in him bears much fruit for without Me you can do nothing.”

The greatest experience of 2019— The Regional Youth Conference 2019 was held from the 8th to 10th November 2019 at Don Bosco, Sulcorna, Goa. Delegates from all over Goa along with Pune, Mangalore and Bangalore attended the conference. The theme of the conference was based on John 15:5—Branch Out.

It was all fun and frolic at the CFCI Chennai Family Day on 10th November 2019, held at Church Park School Auditorium, Nungambakkam. There were 120 participants who attended the celebration.

Blessed & Beautiful

Far away from Bangalore’s buzzing traffic, in a conference room prettified in purple and pink décor, gathered a group of vibrant women from CFCI Singles Bangalore. A two-day program of spiritual self-discovery and sisterly fellowship, beginning on 9th November 2019, at St. Gaspar Retreat Centre, Kithaganu awaited the young ladies.

MER 1 – Bangalore

In an envi¬ronment of prayer, learning, and Christian fellowship, over 30 couples from across Bangalore came together at St. Gaspar Retreat Centre, Kithaganur for a Marriage Enrichment Retreat (MER 1). The programme started on the morning of 2nd November 2019 and concluded the following evening. Across the two days, the couple-participants were presented with seven teachings, couple discussions after every talk, a unique Lord’s Day celebration and a special evening of quality time. Meanwhile, the kids had a wonderful time watching movies, playing games and doing other fun activities with the singles.
